Namecheap a few months later

A while ago I set on the search for a cheap domain and ssl certs reseller and settled for namecheap.com. Here I'm documenting my, overall positive, experience with them.
Registering a domain and buying ssl certificates is a matter of minutes, verification happens via email and the procedure is very straightforward. The interface is not the best possible, some things are slightly awkward but their helpdesk is quick to reply and helpful. The domain info safeguard works straight away to protect your personal data in a whois query (which is not critical but it might come handy at times). You can also setup email notification for changes, so you can keep a record of anything you changed and when, which is pretty useful. If you have a paypal account you can link that your namecheap account and use it to pay your bills without giving them your credit card number. Another nice thing they offer is dynamic dns support, so as long as you use their dns you can easily link your domains to your adsl home line. Bottom line, it's a good service for the money you pay.
